This piece was conceived when a client saw a sofa being made in our workshop, and particularly liked the arm design. Liked it so much, in fact, that they decided to have 27 identical sofas, as well as 3 larger ones, made with these arms. The special aspect being that there are no seams at the top, and the fabric rolls all the way from the seat cushion down the outside arm without interruption. This showed off the custom blue velvet wonderfully! We also made the sofa taller and less deep, and opted for no pelmet at the base, for a grand sofa which remains looking neat and elegant.
